CBC Article: Community Safety at Driftwood
The community feedback at the roundtable discussions on how to improve safety, is what led to the creation of an action plan. Some of the asks from the community included better information sharing about city programs, better lighting in and around the community centre, TCH buildings and on local streets. Engaging and designing more outreach programs that connect with young people remains a priority.

Community Discussion: Finch West LRT
Join us on Tuesday, May 7th for in-person community discussion to learn more about the new Finch West LRT Maintenance and Storage Facility (Finch MSF), how it will operate on a daily basis, how it will be staffed, and what partners are involved.
Black Creek Fair Economies is a project at the Jane/Finch Centre that has been working to create more local hiring opportunities in the Jane-Finch area through major anchor facilities, like the Finch MSF, Humber Meadows Long-Term Care Home, and York University.
We want to hear your questions, thoughts, and concerns about the Finch MSF!
