Peace Without Borders – 6th Annual Peace Walk- 2 Day Peace Walk Carnival
June 10, 2011 Annual Peace Walk will comprise of Students from various schools in the Jane and Finch community. Peace Walk will commences from Jane and Sheppard Plaza and proceeds to the Jane and Finch Mall as we commemorate the loss of all students and young people we have lost as a result of violence.June 11, 2011 Community Members will walk from Jane and Sheppard Plaza and will proceed to the Jane and Finch MallPrior to the walk students will participate in an essay competition on the state of violence in the community. And what can we do differently to avoid violence.The Essay competition winning recipients from June 10 Peace Walk both Elementary and Secondary Students will be recognized June 11 at 4pm by Breakaway Relief Care Staff and Jane and Finch Mall Management
