New lane restrictions start at Keele and Finch on Monday

Update: On Monday, November 29th until mid December, watermain and sewer installation work will begin in the intersection of Finch Avenue West and Keele Street.  Expect delays southbound on Keele Street, from north of Murray Ross Parkway to Finch Avenue W. There will also be lane restrictions on Finch Avenue W approaching Keele Street in both directions. Paid duty officers will be directing traffic for the intersection of Finch and Keele. For this portion of the work contractors will be installing watermains, manholes, and sewers. Lane Restrictions and Road Closures From November 29th until mid December, Lane restrictions provide a safe work zone by establishing a buffer between the public, traffic, and the excavation. Motorists may face temporary to significant traffic delays due to varying lane restrictions on the following streets: Keele Street: Southbound from 200 metres north of Murray Ross Parkway to Finch Avenue West for watermain and utilities work.Murray Ross Parkway: Both directions through Keele Street to Columbia Gate.Toro Road: Both directions between Keele Street and Tangiers Road.New: Finch Avenue West: Both directions approaching Keele Street.Pedestrian and Construction Vehicle Access The sidewalks will remain open at all times to maintain pedestrian access during this portion of construction. Construction vehicles will access the construction site on Keele St. at Murray Ross Parkway and on Finch Avenue West at Tangiers Road.TTC Bus Route Services New: Transit delays can be expected during peak times on 36 Finch West, 107 Keele North, 41 Keele and 107 Keele North bus services.
