Update: Advanced Roadway Modifications For York University Station ConstructionWork is progressing on the advanced road works on York University’s Keele campus inpreparation for York University Subway Station construction, which will be located at the eastend of the Harry W. Arthurs Common. These roadway modifications will allow transit vehicles tocontinue to serve the campus, provide a diversion for traffic throughout subway stationconstruction, and support various aspects of campus operations during construction.Construction includes:Continuing work on constructing a detour road through York Boulevard Parking lot,connecting Ian Macdonald Boulevard at Vanier Lane with York Boulevard at the signalizedintersection of the TTC Busway;Bus bay construction on Ian Macdonald Blvd north of Vanier Lane where VIVA, YRT andBrampton Transit (ZUM) buses will be stopping once the subway constructioncommences in 2011.See flyer for more details: No. 8a TYSSE Construction Notice York University Road Detours
