Tree Debated at North York Community Council
Last week North York Community Council debated whether to allow an exception to the City's by-law to protect trees be made, so that a homeowner could build a swimming pool in their backyard.A staff report recommended not to allow this lost the vote 4-5. A motion to allow the mature tree to be cut carried 5-4 and tree will be cut.
