Anthony Perruzza on Auto Insurance and the Ombudsman Report
Councillor Perruzza spoke in support of a private member's motion that seeks to remove the practice of charging more on auto-insurance according to postal code. He encourages the Province to take action in support of drivers and consumers, "Council, should stand on the side of consumers, on the side of drivers, on the side of Torontonians and ask for some fairness and some equity in the auto insurance industry in the Province of Ontario".Councillor Perruzza defended the conclusions of the Ombudsman's report on Civic appointments at the City and recommends balance when choosing new boards to promote continuity.
