Subway construction is in progress
Four new subway stations are going to be built in our community over the next few years. This is very exciting, as it will bring more people, investment and development into our area. It will be great for reducing traffic and providing a faster and more efficient way for us to travel around our wonderful city. Yorkie and Torkie hit the next milestone! In mid-March and early April tunnel boring machines Yorkie and Torkie began tunnelling from the Highway 407 station site, and are boring the twin tunnels southbound toward the Black Creek Pioneer Village Station (former Steeles West Station).
