TTC Launches Bike Repair Station at Downsview Station
The TTC has launched a new program that will put self-service bike repair facilities at 10 stations.The repair stations will include most tools needed to repair bicycles, including wrenches, Allen keys, screwdrivers, an air pump and wheel chock. All equipment will be secured with steel cables.The TTC chose the 10 stations based on specific criteria, including whether the station already had bike racks, proximity to bike paths and trails, and bicycle commuting trends in the neighbourhood.The 10 stations that will get bike repair facilities first are:
- Davisville.
- Bathurst.
- Downsview.
- Dupont.
- Finch.
- Kipling.
- Keele.
- Kennedy.
- Pape.
- Spadina.
