York Boulevard (North Side) west of Ian Macdonald Boulevard Pathway Restoration Work and TTC Bus Route Changes
Beginning at 6 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2016 pathway and plaza restoration work will continue on York Boulevard from the Kaneff Tower to York Lanes. To facilitate the restoration work, TTC buses will temporarily suspend passenger drop-off immediately in front of the Kaneff Tower. TTC buses will be dropping customers in a reduced drop-off area to the west, immediately in front of York Lanes, as well as a new drop-off area east of Ian Macdonald Boulevard on York Boulevard North. The revised and new drop-off areas are illustrated by the orange lines on the graphic below. Customers are asked to follow the directional signs and use the alternate route when exiting buses east of Ian Macdonald Boulevard (red line). There will be no pedestrian access on York Boulevard from Ian Macdonald to the east end of York Lanes. Pedestrians within the colonnade in front of York Lanes will be able to exit via the east end doors to the newly restored path that connects to the Kaneff Tower main entrance.
