Pre-Construction Notice: Road Resurfacing on Sheppard Avenue West from Keele Street to Allen Road and Intersection Improvement at Sheppard Avenue West and Bakersfield Street

Future notice to be provided.The City of Toronto is planning to resurface the road on Sheppard Avenue West from east of Keele Street to approximately 170 metres west of Allen Road in the summer of 2017.The work will also include improvements to the intersection of Sheppard Avenue and Bakersfield Street. As part of this work there will be road widening of Sheppard Avenue from approximately Tuscan Gate to the CN railway underpass bridge. On Bakersfield Street the road will be widened one lane to the west from Sheppard Avenue to Regis Crescent.Our inspection of the road shows the need to fix the curb and sidewalk and resurface the road to bring them to a state of good repair.This work is part of the Council-approved 2017 Capital Works Program to renew aging city roads and sidewalk for current and future needs.
