Town Hall on Confronting Anti-Black Racism
Cheryl is the Executive Director of the Black Creek Community Health Centre and has served the community with her leadership in various initiatives for over 25 years.
Cheryl has been a strong advocate for health and was sounding the alarm on the health vulnerabilities in Humber River - Black Creek well before COVID-19.
During the pandemic, Cheryl’s tireless advocacy and efforts have further shed light on the inequities in the social determinants of health in Humber River - Black Creek.
We are lucky to have Cheryl join our Town Hall this Thursday to discuss the intersection of Anti-Black Racism and COVID-19 in the Jane-Finch community.
The event is this Thursday, December 3 from 7 - 8:30 PM.
