Yorkgate Employment & Social Services Renovations

There is an upcoming renovation at our Yorkgate Employment & Social Services location at 1 York Gate Blvd. These renovations are necessary to improve accessibility and ergonomics. They will start on Monday, November 6th, and are expected to take about 6 weeks.

During this time, in-person services for people getting Ontario Works will be moved elsewhere, but other services will stay the same.

If you get Ontario Works:

  • You can call your caseworker or our main number at 416-397-9450.
  • If you use MyBenefits online, you can report income or changes there.
  • You can still send documents by fax or mail to our usual addresses.
  • If you need to see someone in person, you can go to Lawrence Square Employment & Social Services at 700 Lawrence Ave. W. East Tower, Suite 330. Caseworkers from Yorkgate will be there to help while Yorkgate is closed.
