A new transmission watermain has been constructed for the Downsview area, helping fulfill current demands on water pressure as well as support future development.
During September and October, residents in Downsview may feel water pressure changes as commissioning work is conducted on a newly constructed transmission watermain, created to carry large volumes of water. Construction began in November 2022, and is expected to be entirely complete by summer 2025.
