Remembrance Week
Indigenous Veteran's Day
The City's Remembrance Week commemorations take place from November 5 to 11. This is a time for Torontonians to reflect on those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country and honour all Canadians who have fought and continue to serve in the Canadian Forces.
To commemorate Indigenous Veterans Day, the City will do an unveiling of a plaque to honour First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples who have served and continue to serve in the Hall of Memory. An Indigenous procession will also enter the Council Chamber ahead of a presentation at a meeting of the Toronto City Council.
